Dr. Kile leads soil evaluations, septic site assessments, and mapping projects with a focus on accuracy, regulatory compliance, and environmental stewardship. With her expertise in soil science and years of field experience, she ensures that every client receives thorough, science-based solutions tailored to their land and development goals.

Dr. Kile oversees the daily operations and business management of Tennessee Soil Science, ensuring projects run smoothly and efficiently. Charles uses is PhD in Accounting to bring expertise in organizational strategy, budgeting, and client service, keeping the company aligned with its mission to deliver ethical, timely, and science-driven solutions.

Marissa is a soil scientist with professional experience across the southeastern US. She earned her B.S. and M.S. in Soil Science from North Carolina State University where she competed in Soil Judging, a competition where she soils are classified and described across diverse landscapes. Her Master‘s work was funded by the NRCS where she 

Marissa is a soil scientist with professional experience across the southeastern US. She earned her B.S. and M.S. in Soil Science from North Carolina State University where she competed in Soil Judging, a competition where she soils are classified and described across diverse landscapes. Her Master‘s work was funded by the NRCS where she identified changing landscapes in coastal NC affected by sea level ride. Upon graduation she spent one year working in soil and environmental consulting in North Carolina where she conducted soil evaluations, wetland delineations, and plant identification.

Owen ensures that every project begins with precise, well-organized data. His work strengthens the accuracy of final soil maps, improves communication between field crews and GIS staff, and helps streamline the septic permitting and land development process.

Brynna is a skilled GIS technician who specializes in advanced geospatial analysis and detailed soil mapping. She is passionate about using maps to solve problems. Her education spans an interdisciplinary foundation, including a Master’s degree in Crop Science, a Bachelor’s in Geography, and a certificate in Data Science. She also has minors in GIS and Environmental Studies. Brynna is equipped to handle large amounts of data and deliver technically accurate reports that guide critical decisions in septic system planning, land development, and environmental sustainability.

She holds a B.A. in Theater from Florida State University and an M.A. in Communications from Regent University. As a communications professional and current Penn State professor, her role is to ensure that every customer is heard, understood, and serv

Kathy brings communication and client engagement to her role as Communications Director. She holds a B.A. in Theater from Florida State University and an M.A. in Communications from Regent University. As a communications professional and current Penn State professor, her role is to ensure that every customer is heard, understood, and served with accuracy. Her focus is on clear, timely communication, making sure requests are handled efficiently and that client goals are fully understood.


She also serves on the Board of Directors for a 115-year-old real estate company. Her leadership helps our company uphold the highest standards of professionalism, accuracy, and trust in every interaction.
